Plum will always be my first waifu. And what got me into tentacle monster girls.
>>152324839Breehn Burns was honestly talented.
>>152325023Too bad he hasn't done anything since.
>>152325023who?
>>152325041this show's director
>>152325032He's made that new Trick R' Treat graphic novel coming out this year. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/legendarycomics/trick-r-treat-witching-hour
>>152324839Best episodes?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OmI2fNSq_0IEmotion Fjord is probably my favorite one of all, wish it was the finale.
>>152325055It doesn't look like my kind of thing personally.
>>152325064Mexican Touchdown for sure.
>>152325098Hell yeah, I really need to rewatch this again. I've forgotten so many of these.

>>152324839NINE THOUSAND PERCENT!
>>152325154Never doubt the worm!
>>152325064I always liked the creepy one with Master Shake's VA.
This show had the hapa waifu before it became an overdone trope.
>>152325188She was hapa?
>>152325174https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ENRjvPM-u98Pupettyville Horror.Yeah, that one's pretty fun.
>>152325201I don't think it's ever stated outright but I mean her name is Beth Tezuka implying she's at least part Japanese. And her VA is white.
Did they ever find their parents? I didn't watch the last seasons.
>>152325235Nyes, kinda.
>>152325155why did it seem like IJQ was everywhere in the early 2010s? was it that he was such a fixture of the online /co/ space that he just got on a bunch of different projects?
>>152324839I actually got a little nostalgic for Bravest Warriors recently, when I stumbled upon some old Bravest Warriors comics cleaning out my space.
>>152324839>>152324861UNAUTHORIZED CASHEWS!
>>152325456He was dating Rebecca Sugar in art school.
>>152325470Are the comics worth reading?I only ever watched the show.
>>152324945>PlumI definitely blame her for at least a few of my fetishes growing up.Also god I wish that was me.
Guess everyone else went to sleep.Good night, warriors.
>>152325456He made one of keenspot's star webcomics when he was 15, in the webcomic golden age, and then his own animated webseries just a little over 20. He was just very proactive with those things
>>152326184That's normal though. Most people in creative work produce it starting as kids.
>>152326213Yeah but I mean he was much more active about getting it on the internet and/or making it visible in the community.

>>152327148>he's 19 nown-noit can't beit hasn't been that long...
I'm surprised to see /co/ embracing Bravest Warriors and viewing it with such nostalgia. All these memeable quotes being shared show that it was VERY much a product of 2010s internet humour
>>152327185A lot of people grew up watching it, and the quotes are very funny and memorable. And the show had a lot more adult moments than most of its contemporaries at the time too, so not all that surprising.
>>152327212Oh and also it being a youtube show instead of on tv made it a lot more accessible and also made it blow up in popularity being one of the first shows to do it.
>>152327185Meh it was kinda fun. Better than other trash of the time.
>>152326368Praise alien-allah.>>152326359>literally meEver since this show came out, I sometimes picture a version of Danny but as myself (not latino) and that's how I imagine myself in cartoon form.I also feel like Danny is everything wrong and right about me except I don't say cool shit like he does or have charisma....
>>152327165
>>152327649man i miss when the internet communicated through posts like that
>>152324839Gonna be rewatching this show on the weekend.Post art requests if you have any so maybe I can do some fanart while watching.
>>152328708Uhh it's been agest since I've seen this and I think I'm one of the few rare people who stuck with it until like 2018.So I don't really got nothing in particular in mind, need to rewatch too.
>>152328708I too have been re-watching BW recently. I missed S4, so I'm catching up with it now.Art Request: Plum getting those sassy num-nums.
>>152325188>hapa waifu tropeName 5 characters other then her.
>>152329983>other then her.The show doesn't say she was half white
>>152325504They're about on par with your average Adventure Time comic from that era. They're a nice short read but they're mostly kinda forgettable otherwise. If you get the chance to read them, it's worth reading for fun.
>>152330912Trash
>>152327185I think it's one of those things where enough time has passed that people feel allowed to look back nostalgically on aspects of the early to mid 2010s without being accused of being cringe.
>>152325497I think he graduated before her but they probably dated while she was there. Also, I just looked up her wikipedia page and apparently she was a key part of Nockforce? Which means that Ian's old cartoon shorts that never made it big time played a minor part in both his love life and him getting a show at CN.
>>152324839Dropped this when Chris came back, how did it even end?
>>152324861>This joke was so funny it was made into an actual item in World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor.
>>152332346Wait... Came back from what, exactly?
>>152332288>sugar peas That sounds disgustang
>>152332346They beat the worm>>152332882Came back after he used the time machine
>>152326243He's an inspiration. I hope he gets to make more cool stuff. OK KO was literally some bullshit pitch he put together in one night when Cartoon Network was asking for show ideas. I don't think Ian ever expected the network to grow so attached to the concept and let him expand upon it so much.
>>152325050Ah, okay.
>>152334634It's cool that he's been a successful artist in pretty much every decade of his life. Like, imagine all the different artists of different generations he's worked with over all these years. And he's likely to keep going
>>152335916His and Sugar's section for The Elephant was especially cool because you could feel Ian JQ's touches in things like the look of the crowd shots, but it still felt very unique from his previous works. He's always experimenting, and I'm down for that
I remembered this show warmly until it disappeared behind streaming services. I eventually pirated it to keep going, but it wasn't the same. I don't know if I just waited too long to stay invested, or if I just got burnt out on the love-triangle plot where Chris has to nonsensically keep chasing Beth after she rejected him and Plum didn't.
>>152337015I'm surprised this show got more fucked than Bee & Puppycat. At least B&PC got a proper second chance.
>>152324839I ship it
>>152338220>Bee and Puppycat pilot hinges on romance involving female lead>reveal that she’s much older than him, she babysat him when he was a child>people ship her with the cat>he babysat her when SHE was a child
>>152338327I used to
>>152326361Wallow's Samoan? I always thought he was black.
Wait a second you people actually watched this show?
>>152339757I did. I stopped bothering when they hopped networks, but I came back for the finale. The finale was honestly kinda flaccid, and the later seasons were a disappointment, but I still enjoyed it overall.Mainly because some of the high marks sucked, but the lower key throwaway meme moments and jokes made me laugh my ass off, like the funeral scene where everyone is dressed up somberly for the occasion...and the catbug is just standing there with a black tie over the cone of shame. I know it's not exactly highbrow, but fuck it, I laughed.
>>152339757I fucking loved this show when I was 11
>>152324839one million percent!
>>152339757>13 million views https://youtu.be/nv99gj1xxWwWhy are you trying to pretend this wasn't liked at some point?
>>152326359So that one chick in the evil warriors episode was Danny's sister right? in another episode he goes to his old abandoned childhood house and we see a photo of two babies.
>>152326361>>152339486That's fucked up, since they got a black guy to voice him, so you'd he's black.
>>152341201Is a little silly to have races in the hyper future were earth is totally different to the 21th century. Don't the bravest warriors live in terraform mars or something?
No sassy num-nums.
>>152339849I was in my early 20s when it premiered. I thought it was ok.
>>152341253I was 19? at the time, it was cool and novel watching cartoons with a budget on youtube, back then the only online cartons you got were Newground flash cartoons. I think the main problem with bravest warrior is that it was borderline spastic in their serialized story, you always felt like you were missing episodes for how incomplete the story felt.
>>152339757>can always count on anons watching some random french kids show from the 00s but questions about people watching a popular early 10s webshow from the guy that made adventure time This board is weird
>>152341253I was about that age when it started.I thought it was humorous, quirky, charming, and a bit trippy at times. Which I dug.
