The Legion of Doom wasn't canon in DC Comics until 1996.

Reed isn't that old, he has grey hair from the stress of WW2.

Howard the Duck's favorite food, movie, and band are Franks and Beans, Lawrence of Arabia, and the Beatles.

He also almost had a Saturday Morning Cartoon around the same time Spider-Man had his.

Stan Lee forgot he named the Hulk "Bruce Banner" and had him called Bob in an issue, when fans pointed this out, he gave the Hulk's full name as "Robert Bruce Banner"

Hugh Jackman's Wolverine was supposed to have a cameo in Spider-man 2002, but they could find his costume in time for filming

When the Merry Melodies series of WB cartoon started, they were originally going to star a new cartoon star, Foxy.
As with many cartoons of the era, he was an obvious Micky Mouse rip off.
This didn't escape Walt Disney. Walt, despite being incredibly litigious, didn't sue WB because Harman and Ising were friends and former co-workers of his out of Kansas City, but he gave them a call and told them to drop the character

They eventually did and in his last, and best, short "One More Time", he's killed off after being shot in the back with a machine gun

He was followed up with Piggy, who lasted 2 shorts (1 apart of the Censored 11), and Goopy Geer, who was probably the best of the 3 and while he does look like Goofy, he predates him. After Goopy Geer, they dropped permanent characters for Merry Melodies.

And that 1996 version was full of C-Listers like Killer Frost, Major Force, and Houngan, and it only existed for 5 issues.
The actual premier super villain team of the DCU was The Secret Society of Super-Villains for a long time.
A more traditional Legion of Doom that was closer to the Super Friends roster and actually fought the Justice League wouldn't actually exist until Snyder's Justice League in 2018.
>>

Also, another LoD fun fact
>It was originally called "League of Evil"
>Dr. Sivana was the leader, and the roster was mostly Captain Marvel and Batman villains
>a lot of the characters they wanted for the team were already taken due to rights issues, which is the real reason characters like Joker weren't part of the team, they were instead substituted with some of the other members, like Riddler in Joker's place

Mariah Carey had 3 separate guest appearances on American Dad, all playing completely random background characters
She played a waitress Max Jets
She played the wife of a Cowboys fan that Stan has dinner with in Kung Pao Turkey
And she played a random background character in The Missing Kink

JK Simmons has also had many, largely unimportant, guest appearances on American Dad

Weird how they didn't go with this for the show and chose David instead

Oh, speaking of the Hulk TV show.
If I remember correctly, Stan hated the show because they changed so much about the character.
Also, the reason why She Hulk was created was to make sure that NBC couldn't make a Hulk spin off with a female Hulk.
>>
>>152330951
Yep, due to the license agreement with NBC the network owned any original characters. IIRC there were rumors they were planning to do a She-Hulk and Stan wanted to avoid a situation like with Six Million Dollar Man (where they created Bionic Woman as a spinoff to cut out the creators on royalties) so he rushed a She-Hulk comic into production just in case. I believe Spider Woman came about in the same way.
Coincidentally, Marvel later did this again with the villain Circuit Breaker from Transformers, having her cameo in Secret Wars 2 before her debut issue was published>>152330951

Remember when they was in The Justice League Unlimited?
>>
>>152331028
Another fun fact about Spider-Woman, the original reason why Spider-man went with the black suit, which later became the Symbiote Suit, was because he thought Spider-Woman's black outfit looked cool so he copied it.

Craig McCracken stated one of the reasons Frankie works at the Foster Home was to one day reunite with her own imaginary friend she was forced to let go by her father at a young age.

The first porn animation was from 1929

Dang never heard the Mariah Carey thing that's cool
>JK Simmons has also had many, largely unimportant, guest appearances on American Dad
I remember the ripped Dean, but no other appearances

Remember the episode where Steve, Roger, Hailey, and Klaus was making a jingle for a pizza place? He was the pizza place owner.
>>
William Marston might have been the first to define Will Power as the source of Green Lanterns' powers
>>
>>152330951
He didn't hate it but he hated some of the changes. But he even cameo'd in one of the TV movies. It was after all the first really successful Marvel adaptation.

I think it's funny that Banner's first name in the comics also isn't Bruce, and in the show his full name is David Bruce Banner.
>>
>>152332980
Reminder that his name is David in the show because execs thought Bruce sounded, and I quote, "too faggy"

Australians absolutely WRECKED.
