This show was better than Dexters Lab and I am tired of pretending it's not. I prefer shows that have a clean look to them than shows that look ancient.

I was barely even alive when Dexter's Lab had new episodes since I was born in 2000 and when I watched like one or two episodes on Boomerang at my grandma's house since I never had Boomerang, it just felt like some show that desperately wanted to be a 60s cartoon. I don't really like old stuff because they don't look clean. Johnny Test looked shiny and clean to me as a kid and I liked that it had a talking dog.

I liked Johnny Test when I was little because it was just loud and obnoxious fun. Going back to it now that I am in my early 20's and one who can appreciate the artistic merit of works of cinema like those crated by Orson Welles, Francis Ford Coppola, and Stanley Kubrick, I find that I still like it because it is loud and obnoxious.
I think Johnny test gets too much hate. That being said the first two seasons of Dexter’s laboratory are classics.

Johnny Test was cleaner and more creative than Bravo ever was.

Years later, I watched a lot more of Dexters Lab because people online said it was great and I realized it's just a miserable, mean spirited show. It's the meanest out of all the Cartoon Network shows along with Johnny Bravo. Johnny Test is a more positive show.
