Peck is dead anon....which I guess you already know so I guess I'll funpost anyway.
But yes, I did like the show even though it did get preachy at times or overly dour/sentimental like that smokeshow duck being stood up and then later becoming a jerk.
Bernice needed to wear Chyna type outfits and get dicked by down by the private dick...until the ending. That was the most 1:1 equivalent to a Gainax ending if I've ever seen one.
