I think the show got super-ambitious, tackling a ton of issues all at the same time. It used to be just a bunch of sex jokes.

It gets away with all this under the cover of comedy and the ugliest godamn designs man has ever wrought to a cartoon.

Feels ultimately fake because of the lack of weird fetishes.Nobody gets into fatties, nobody gets a blueberry kink, nobody wants to be spanked, etc. For a show about sexual awakenings, it's pretty limited in its vision.
The best part about this show is that it ended.
