Outside the "daugher of Zeus" I wouldn't mind if this was the canon run like they did with Geoff's Aquaman Not like Orlando , Rucka and Wilson did anything good that made worthy the retcon
New 52 runs get so much hate that I think the only thing that people argue was good and came out of it was Harley's heel turn, and even that is controversial

Sure you can get hung up on the details like biological daughter of Zeus, or the Amazon mating ritual, but outside of that as a whole its a fantastic story that maintains Diana's loving and diplomatic nature. It's unfortunately overshadowed by the other shit going on during the New 52 era, especially that bullshit characterization Geoff Johns was rolling with in his Justice League book. Only other "weak" part of the run, which is subjective, was not utilizing her rogues in favor of Olympus drama, but overall it was still interesting. Heck I'm not even bothered too much by the Zeus thing because its just a different divine origin, but that's personal opinion of course.Ever since then Wonder Woman books have suffered because writers keep having pissing contests with one another debating what should and should not be canon rather than giving us interesting stories. Tom King's run is just dumb commentary bullshit more focused on pushing her daughter Trinity anyway. The only good Diana book in recent years after this appears to be Absolute Wonder Woman by Kelly Thompson, which is doing well because it feels like actual fucking Diana but under different circumstances/universe. Give Kelly the mainline book afterwards, she's earned it
