Barr pitched this as a year one story but it got rejected but then a different editor approved Miller's Year One and editorial panicked knowing Barr could sue for plagerism, so they let him do his Year One story as Year Two.And this story is way fucking better than Year One. Especially considering that Barr was one of the few people at DC who liked Batman '66 and write a G-Rated Batman book, not a grim and gritty version
