Can we have a normal Bluey thread in 2026? Like not about fandoms or drama or furries, like we just talk about the show?
>>
>>152350815
Anon, that is a normal Bluey thread.

We should talk about how Muffin is a good girl who did nothing wrong ever.
>>
>>152350815
>not aboout fandoms
Okay yeah, that's fair.
>or drama
Sure... that's also fair
>or furries
Uhh...
What is there to talk about? You can only say "x scene made me emotional" so much before it doesn't work anymore. The main thing that made the show popular was these weirdly touching tear jerker moments but after a while they lose their tear jerkness and/or just don't work anymore because we get used to it and the idea of "toddler show with deep emotional scene" loses it's strenght

They should just make a Bingo show next.
>>
>>152350815
The reason Bandit and Chili couldn’t tell the girls how they met is because it was like Lady in the tramp, but instead of spagetthi it was some British guys cock and ass and they accidentally had there first kiss bumping into each other as they were sucking some knob.
>>
>>152350952
I really think she’s gonna make it.
>>
>>152350815
There was a good skit acknowledging Bluey on this past weekend’s Saturday Night Live.
>>
>>152351081
You know, that’s not terrible idea.

I’ve been thinking about how disappointed I am that extending the show into future seasons most likely means they’re going to stop aging up the characters, to maintain the status quo. Which from an artistic perspective sucks, but makes some sense from a marketing perspective. The execs will most likely want the toddler show to continue to be about toddlers, so they can keep selling toddler merchandise. BUT, a fun compromise to get around this problem could be to just make continuous spinoffs about progressively younger characters. Like when Bluey gets too old, switch focus to her younger cousin Socks. And then later to the baby Auntie Brandy has, or some other kid. And keep doing that, until finally the show has been on so long they can make it about Bluey’s kid.
>>
>>152351373
Brandy straight up tells the girls “we met at a party in London,” so since that’s what London parties are like, she pretty much did tell them the truth. It’s not her fault the girls assumed it meant tea with the queen.
>>
Bingo is Pat's daughter.
>>
>>152351436
I think more than likely the show will just end. The creator said he would never recast Bluey and Bingo and they're already getting too old to keep doing the voices properly so the show will probably just stop. Which is fine with me, more shows need to learn to stop while they are still good instead of getting milked into the ground.

Nice try, but her spot pattern is identical to Bandit’s. She’s just color swapped.

>>
>>152351474
I’m not convinced he has enough power to make that call anymore. I’m pretty sure he’s not even working on the upcoming season, because he thought the special was the perfect place to end. I think it’s likely we’re getting a Stephen Hillenburg/Spongebob situation, where the network is going to insist on milking the show long past its peak and the original creator’s intended ending. They’ll probably recast the actors or use AI or let their voices change and press ahead.
>>
>>152351543
Maybe, maybe not. No one can know for sure until it happens and I'm not going to be overly negative until I have a reason to be.

Cuck is an integral part to the show, casual
>>
>>152351543
It depends on whether or not Brumm has complete creative control over the property. If we're lucky, this won't be a Hillenburg/Spongebob situation so much as an Antonucci/Ed, Edd 'n Eddy situation.

They probably mean how the show will occasionally make reference to higher concepts like the after life, without using any one specific religion.
>>
>>152350815
At the rate the show's going, I hope they decide to do a timeskip.
No clue if that'd mean the Heelers a few years later with the kids all matching their VA's ages, or if they'd skip to the next generation completely and focus on whole new kids with a whole new family though.
Just sucks the show started out with all this momentum and just kinda dried up after a couple seasons.

>show for toddlers and kids
>spend an entire episode about not-IKEA and making a porch swing
>the adults struggle to build the porch swing and end up improvising a bit to make it work, while the kids fuck around with the boxes and styrofoam
>the episode also contains the entire history of mankind, the entire concept of evolution from beginning to end, plus parenting, spiritualism/religion in general, passing off the torch to the next generation, death, and the afterlife
>the whole episode's like 5 minutes long
>kids find the episode funny for both the parents' and kids' antics
>adults get the full experience and can react with a wide range of emotions
SSS+ tier, god-tier episode, one of my favorite episodes of any cartoon ever. There's NO fuckin' reason they should've gone this hard, man.

He means toddler tier morality stories about friendship or neighborliness or forgiveness or family values like respecting parents. Yknow, christianity. Occasionally they’ll drop a direct reference to a buddhist fable in there once in a while too just to seem inclusive.
>>
>>152354569
If you show me official merch of Chili’s butt I might consider it.

Not to go too far into this argument but those things were neither invented by nor are they exclusive to christianity.
>>
>>152354580
Furries need to remain an exclusive elite class because most of the ones that don’t wind up arrested are scientists with day jobs that are holding society together. Allowing normies into furry events will dilute the think tank.
>>
>>152354823
>skip to the next generation completely and focus on whole new kids with a whole new family though
That would need to be a spinoff. It’d be weird if the show called Bluey cut out the character named Bluey.

There are only two outcomes when a stranger sees a childless adult anon with a piece of bluey merch
>the stranger is a normie parent with young kids at home, and asks anon about their kids. anon then awkwardly needs to explain they don’t have any kids and don’t work in childcare, and the normie parent is forced to assume or deduce they are either a pedo or a retard, or both
>the stranger is a fellow adult bluey fan. they really are a pedo or retard, or both
>>
