Honestly that line does not make any sense, 500 years is pretty short, humanity will still be around, maybe less thriving, but still. It would have made more sense if he said 5000 years. All in all, pretty shit show if they manage to fuck up this little detail.
It's enough when close friends and family are concerned
>>152353020What a retarded thread this is. Don't make any more, you're not good at it.
>>152353020He's saying that Mark's attachment to the humans he currently knows will be gone but he'll still have the Viltrumites. Nolan spent his life on Earth mentally detached from the humans because he thought of them as specks that'll be gone in the blink of an eye. It's only later that he realizes that he was wrong.
>>152353020what about Mark's family and friends, you braindead moron idiot?that's Nolan's point
>>152353054>cant refute meJust admit it bro, 500 years from now on everything will be pretty much the same-ish maybe 1900 style civilizations but it will be about the same
If you wanna know what the guy on the right is up to he works as a landscaper
>>152353020>it would have made more sense if he said 5000 years500 years is already difficult for a young man to grasp, 5000 years would have been incomprehensible to him.
>>152353020Everyone mark personally knows will be gone and society would have changed inconceivably
>>152353051Then it's weird he aimed so high.
