Talking is the keyword here. If she can't talk because she's being choked or smothered, her power doesn't work.

Since these kinds of series are basically alternate universes, and we can probably re use some of these characters, might as well do experiment.I think the story would be for melira traveling through different planets looking for strong opponents to test her might, while she is well known in her home she is not well known outside of it. She comes to earth finding strong fighters whether it be holy warriors or demons. She isnt a villain but loves to fight regardless which side.I think have the nuns trying to fight her and mistaken her for being a demon should be Maria or Joan trying to excorise her but failing and realizing she isnt a demon.Melira would start off being indifferent and attack both sides. After she would start helping demons after she is tricked into fighting worthy opponent's due to her decimating demons as she reached earth. After that she assists Maria and Co to take down the demons after realizing she was lied too. How about that idea? Or do you want to change it?

Sometimes the change is just a change of personality, but other times it involves a physical change.Our werewolf heroine's pentagram was botched, so her werewolf personality is in her human body and her human personality is in her werewolf body. The two personalities are aware of each other and communicate, and neither are happy about the arrangement, especially with the werewolf personality being a rising start in Pandemonium (that could be the name of the fight org).So now you have a meek and mild woman behind the controls of a werewolf fighting machine desperate not to lose because if she does her werewolf personality won't let her hear the end of it. She can't hide behind her wolf side anymore. She has to become brave or she'll get humiliated.

She can hear her werewolf personality in her head, and she can tell her what to do in a fight, but that only helps a little bit.If the werewolf girl can keep her composure, she can momentarily allow her werewolf personality to take over and kick ass, but this only lasts a few seconds at a time. It can get her out of a pinch, but then she's back to being the driver behind the werewolf body.
