Hirsche desperately wants the audience to hate Pacifica for being “better” than Mabel but the absolute worst thing she does is act rude, while Mabel causes half the problems in the show and never takes accountability for it. Even the things Pacifica acts smug over are pretty reasonable since it’s earned; she is the best at minigolf, she is the most popular girl in town from the most esteemed family. There’s no reason for me to hate her.
