MJ already has experience fighting addiction and strong emotions so Peter basically helps with the multi-tasking and fighting aspect. The arc revolves around MJ's burgeoning feelings of motherhood and also owning up to running away from stuff as she wants things to be simple and one at a time when it really requires a high level of multi-tasking and meticulous planning. Peter by this point would have grown and planned his own life out in order to make time for MJ. The major villain would be another version of the Crime Master who is completely anonymous again and is also meticulous about their own activities and gang structure. Basically this one has all the responsibility and none of it as he (or she) is the leader while still having the nuclear option of burning it all and running while the others are left in the dust and the master is upfront about that and this is agreed upon in the beginning.So yeah an arc where MJ could be more heroic but also deal with more nuance with having to make tough decisions.Debating whether I should make a thread this weekend.
