The way the Adventure Time franchise is being handled right now is a clear indicator of how awful the industry has become. A show that for the longest time kept getting renewed and could have the same writers/artists employed long-term now is only allowed 10 episodes a season, produced one at a time, and with every one involved getting laid off long before each new installment has a release date. Fionna & Cake is made this way, Side Quests is made this way, and I have very little hope either one will get another season anytime soon (if at all)...
