It was a nice little annual. Not the best of ones I've read but it was a cute little bow on the Medusa plotline Diana mentioned before. I love Athena's design and how the book portrayed her.

>>152465664Depends on the run, like everyone. Her Sabrina stuff is really good and people say her Jem stuff was cool too. Her problems seem to be more with capes. Diana being so different from others while still having fun fights makes it seem like she was built more for fresh approaches/alt universes than having to deal with main universe baggage and editorials. If only Archie didn't cancel the Sabrina tpb, I'd have easily recommended that. Props to the colorists and artists too, of course. Seeing the sparkle of those blue eyes enamored me and my wife quickly to the comic

The difference is that those same goddesses had grown fond of her different outlook and are still antagonists but in a way to help her grow. They had some amazing titans, Prometheus was wonderful. Maybe one of the gods could be on her side, too. I love neutral Hades the most because of Orpheus, but the whole taking of Persephone thing and being in a darker universe means that I'm not too surprised he ends up the way he is. Hecate is speaking of breaking down the status quo so it could be that the gods have some sort of system in place and the goddesses are wanting out of it. Zeus is a conniving shit so it wouldn't surprise me. But also she is an Amazon. It kind of makes sense that she's giving thanks and prayers to female goddesses so those are the ones she gets along with. It's like how most of Batman's friends are guys. It's being written for the demographic that reads it
