AI is going to be the death of cartoons. Every time there's a new leap in animation technology, we're promised a tsunami of content, and then the opposite happens. Fewer episodes come out and the seasons get shorter. We're at digital puppet cartoons putting out 8 episodes every 3 years, nobody's going to show up for less than that.
