It was weird how Darkwing Duck distinctly had both "superhero villains" and "secret agent villains," but seemed terrified at the prospect of ever having them interact, even though "Negaduck vs Taurus Bulba, or Fearsome Five vs FOWL, with Darkwing caught in the middle" sounds like the coolest plot ever.

>>152477991I wanna say the head writer / creator said on Talkin Toons that each Darkwing episode is meant to be kind of a self-contained comic book. That's why episode-to-episode continuity is gleefully ignored, but any given ep is going to be faithfully homaging something from comics, even if it's all different ones.
