Only Finnish animated tv show I can think of that's actually made in Finland and not just based on a Finnish property, like Moomin, is Pasila. There's more comics, mostly newspaper strips. And of course some Disney duck and mouse comics writers/artists, but what Euro country doesn't have those.
Does Mirka Andolfo's Unnatural count as a Euro comic?
"Röllin sydän" (Quest for a Heart is the English title) came to mind when thinking of Finnish animation. Tried to look up who produced the animation, and I couldn't find any confirmation on that, but the whole movie was a Finnish-Russian-German-British co-production. The German company involved, Greenlight Media AG, has some other animation projects in their portfolio (Funky Cops, Simsala Grimm) but at least for Funky Cops I think they were just the producer.Anway, whole lotta rambling just to get a chance to post the elf cutie from that movie.>>152504686Helga a qt too.

>>152504584>I've never gotten a single pooinloo telemarketer callNeither have I. My bank uses a landline number for my credit card authorisation, a number that is mine but has not had a phone connected to it in over 15 years. Paypal only knows that number also. When someone I'm buying from "needs" a phone number, they get the landline number. Only those in the circle of trust get my mobile number, and that means local people I trust who deliver things in their own van.I'm a kickstarter whore, and I don't regret it. Most if not all of the comics featured there apart from Titeuf and Lou ended years ago.Titeuf and Lou are the two big outliers, they're massively more successful than anything else in that pic. Titeuf was a hit long before that, in fact the whole purpose of Tcho was to use Titeuf's popularity to bootstrap other stuff. As for Lou, it stopped using the 1 gag per page format ment for Tcho at book 3, so it's long distanced itself.

>>152534912>What the fuck is this?Thomas & Tim. The kid is Tim and the girl is called Frida. He got stung on the ass by a bee and she's sucking the stinger out.
>>152533667But Captain Biceps (a Tcho comic strip seen here) is still kinda going, I mean he even fought JoJo's Bizarre Adventure in a recent book and I can easily see him also fighting Ladybug and Cat Noir and the I.M.P crew from Helluva Boss if there ever is a new album. Also do you think the comics that were in Tcho influenced most webcomics, middle grade graphic novels and indie/web cartoons in the last decade or so along with the art of Rayman Origins?
>>152534912>Searching Brum and his name bear-ly (haha) get me any results. Is Nalle like proto Bamse? This image is from the official website.Teddy is definitely a Proto-Bamse, he even has the same gimmick of being super strong, albeit without the limitation of needing magic honey. The turtle and rabbit companions should also be a dead giveaway that Bamse is essentially just a revised Teddy.Nalle and Brum are relatively unrelated to Bamse beyond being bear protagonists. The most I can gather is that several characters, like the Wolf, were recycled from Brum and Nalle but Bamse himself clearly has more in common with Teddy. It seems that maybe some character traits and design elements of Nalle and Brum ended up with Bamse but Nalle is a teddy bear telling stories to his friends and Brum literally just seems to be a bear cub.Interestingly enough, Nalle-Maja, Teddy and Brum are all the names of Bamse's triplets, so that much at least seems to have been included in Bamse.
>>152522326She used to post her art on /ic/, which should be findable in the archives if you know what to search for. I doubt she was a shitposter beyond that, but you never know.
The popularity of the Northern Lights series spawned a shitload of fantasy comic series in Norway. I haven't read any of the other ones, but might get to them some day.

>>152503939>MihaelaCommie Lolen and Bolek lookin-ass.The only somewhat significant Romanian comic(-ish) I remember reading is Haplea. It's pre-WW2. Got a short janky cartoon, which is kinda boring compared to the strip.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4EAhgWMm6I

Another Italian magical girl comic is Isa e Bea by Edizioni Cioè from 2002 until 2009, but all I can find are Spanish translations, picrel.

>>152527604A 3D-animated children's TV show was made of this, and I caught a glimpse of it before I even knew of the movie as I was taking care of my nephew. It seemed like a pretty standard kids' show until one mouse made a casual mention of segregation, which had me do a double take.
Polish comicbook scene was very meh for a long time, so I grew up reading Asterix and Lucky Luke instead. That was the shit.I don't think the situation improved much.
>>152540555are they're any good polish comics out there?

I don't think Russia is considered western politically, culturally, and geographically
>>152541715Yes, they make Capeshit, which is a non-European genre.
There's an account on VK called Au Phil Des Bulles that collects and scans european comics for download.
What was up with the Soviet Union and crocodiles? You had Gena the Crocodile, the Crocodile from Chukovsky's poem Crocodile, the crocodile from Chukovsky's The Stolen Sun, they were everywhere.I'm starting to wonder if my own fascination with reptiles stemmed from this.
I partly get why there isn't much of this franchise on /co/, as well as other ones.
>>152540609I genuinely don't believe so. We are not much into comicbooks. Maybe some changed nowadays, but I stopped giving a fuck at this point.

>>152521143>I'm asking out of ignorance, but aren't these characters 'inspired' by Frozen/the Ice Queen?No.>>152536019It's funny that what started out as a webcomic on 4chan ended up becoming successful enough to spawn a whole damn comic genre in the creator's home country.
