Non-euro here. I've been reorganising my shelves after I got a couple of extras. Got most of my european comics on a couple of shelves now. I have a few others not pictured, some Moebius stuff etc. A fair amount of my french stuff is in french.

Now your filename is correct. Decade doesn't include the last book (#4, iirc).
Unless some new collection came out within the last ~2 years, you'll need either Ultimate + Spaceship Collection, or Decade + the last book. One of these options also have a few extras in the form of some proto strips of what would eventually end up as Sky Doll. I think it's the latter.

You were being wrong on the internet. Naturally, I had to correct that.
I'm pretty jelly about the LaChatte book though. I wish I could get myself to back kikestarters and stuff like that, but I'm extremely paranoid about sharing personal info online be it address or card numbers. Then add that shipping usually doubles the actual price. I'm still mad the Bodybags collection turned out to be kikestarter shit, because the book I wanted would end up at the equivalent of 350-400 dollars after shipping and fuck no if I'm paying that for a single book.

On the flipside, being cautious about sharing my info also means I've never gotten a single pooinloo telemarketer call.

Only Finnish animated tv show I can think of that's actually made in Finland and not just based on a Finnish property, like Moomin, is Pasila.
There's more comics, mostly newspaper strips. And of course some Disney duck and mouse comics writers/artists, but what Euro country doesn't have those.

"Röllin sydän" (Quest for a Heart is the English title) came to mind when thinking of Finnish animation. Tried to look up who produced the animation, and I couldn't find any confirmation on that, but the whole movie was a Finnish-Russian-German-British co-production. The German company involved, Greenlight Media AG, has some other animation projects in their portfolio (Funky Cops, Simsala Grimm) but at least for Funky Cops I think they were just the producer.
Anway, whole lotta rambling just to get a chance to post the elf cutie from that movie.

>I've never gotten a single pooinloo telemarketer call
Neither have I. My bank uses a landline number for my credit card authorisation, a number that is mine but has not had a phone connected to it in over 15 years. Paypal only knows that number also. When someone I'm buying from "needs" a phone number, they get the landline number. Only those in the circle of trust get my mobile number, and that means local people I trust who deliver things in their own van.

I'm a kickstarter whore, and I don't regret it. I like backing things so they can happen and getting weird and exclusive bonuses. I've got a drawer full of enamel pins and shit, as well as the odd extra book.

Well Titeuf is most famous one out of that franchise (and people are probably familiar and have heard of it) but no one seems to know about the other comics in this franchise even though they all have very similar art styles, pacing and humor to most cartoons in the last 30 years and some Indie/web Cartoons.

Franchise doesn't mean whatever you think it means. That's a magazine and by looks of the cover, it features a bunch of different series.

As I said the different series in this magazine all have had very similar art styles, pacing and humor to most cartoons in the last 30 years and some Indie/web cartoons which would let it might get a fan base the English speaking world and on the internet which it should've done years ago.

The thing that links them the the magazine "Tcho" and that died in 2013. Most if not all of the comics featured there apart from Titeuf and Lou ended years ago.

Titeuf and Lou are the two big outliers, they're massively more successful than anything else in that pic. Titeuf was a hit long before that, in fact the whole purpose of Tcho was to use Titeuf's popularity to bootstrap other stuff. As for Lou, it stopped using the 1 gag per page format ment for Tcho at book 3, so it's long distanced itself.

Also do you think the comics that were in Tcho influenced most webcomics, middle grade graphic novels and indie/web cartoons in the last decade or so along with the art of Rayman Origins?

>Searching Brum and his name bear-ly (haha) get me any results. Is Nalle like proto Bamse? This image is from the official website.

Teddy is definitely a Proto-Bamse, he even has the same gimmick of being super strong, albeit without the limitation of needing magic honey. The turtle and rabbit companions should also be a dead giveaway that Bamse is essentially just a revised Teddy.

Nalle and Brum are relatively unrelated to Bamse beyond being bear protagonists. The most I can gather is that several characters, like the Wolf, were recycled from Brum and Nalle but Bamse himself clearly has more in common with Teddy. It seems that maybe some character traits and design elements of Nalle and Brum ended up with Bamse but Nalle is a teddy bear telling stories to his friends and Brum literally just seems to be a bear cub.

Interestingly enough, Nalle-Maja, Teddy and Brum are all the names of Bamse's triplets, so that much at least seems to have been included in Bamse.

Would love comic with dragon as one of main characters. Is there any English translator of this comic?

There isn't one. Apparently it has been, or is being, translated into Swedish, Danish and French.
