Not that Dexter doesn't have nostalgia, it does and I'm sure there are some kids nowadays who have seen it thanks to their parents, but it feels like Dexter's nostalgia peaked years ago while the other three still has their nostalgia going strong. I used to see Dexter nostalgia on the Internet all the time and I still do, but nowadays, I see more nostalgia for shows like Adventure Time and Chowder than I do Dexter for example.

On the other hand I've noticed Courage the Cowardly Dog had a resurgence in popularity despite being a 30-year-old show, an equally interesting phenomenon in its own right. I suspect that’s because its horror elements are timeless and resonate more with today’s youth.
