STORM'S COMIN I CAN SEE THE CLOUDS
>>152574735>STORMS COMING EVENTUALLY>WELL PROBABLY RIGHT? WAIT AND SEE
...IN ONE YEAR AND SIX MONTHS!
>>152574735The clouds prepare for battleIn the dark and brooding silenceBruised and sullen storm cloudsAnd the light of day obscuredLooming low and ominousIn twilight prematureThunderheads are rumblingIn a distant overtureAll at once, the clouds are partedLight streams down in bright unbroken beams
>>152574735Me watching the show just waiting for Lute.
>>152574735>>152574755>>152574759>>152574805>Lute finally comes back to Hell and this is what she sees
>>152574735Fuck why are bitches with Bobcut so sexy?literally anytime i see one of them anywhere they always end up as best girl
>>152574735I love misogynistic women.
Abel is in trouble.
>>152574735>what lack of dick from a fat chud does to a woman
>>152574805
>>152574735>call woman a bitch>she respects and obeys you what the fuck did feminist animator Viv mean by this?
>>152574735I feel like the simple switch of putting this song at the end of the season instead of at the start would have completely changed the feeling of how they're handling Lute as a character.
>>152575741>not a gay demon twinkIt was over for her before it began.
Any chance for Adam in hell, or is he dead dead?
>>152575795I think he's dead dead. The idea that he and Lute become fallen angels in Hell and have a second chance to make things right like everyone else at the end is more interesting to me than just erasing them, but it doesn't feel like they want to give them too much depth.
>>152575795iirc Viv said he's dead dead
Answer the door.
>>152575795>>152575820It always sucks when the fun Villains are killed and the writers won't bring them back.
>>152575795Wasn't there a Season 4 voice actor demo leak with Speaker of God throwing Lute out of Heaven? There's no reason to do a fallen Lute arc if they won't make her reunite with Adam.
>>152575667Lute clearly got off to it. Feminism means women can make choices and if her choice is to bow to a fat chud who are you to say no?
>>152574735I am still so fucking mad that they built her up with the best song to come out of either season and then did fucking NOTHING with her.
Lute really does love being a hater, almost as much as she loved Adam.
>>152577243You're acting like they killed her off or something. They just put a pin in her arc to come back to next season.
Adam being reborn in hell as a demon would be so inconceivably right that I might kill myself if they don't do itI don't even like this show, it's just too logical to not happen
>>152577647I think it's funny that she's constantly trying to start shit and just keeps getting shut down, if she was a guy her balls would be bluer than a smurf's by the end of the season. They're basically letting the pressure build up until it reaches critical mass.
>>152574735AINT NOTHIN GONNA SAVE YOU NOW
>>152574735I haven't even watched season 2. but i’ve seen the leaked 2nd episode and damn does lute go hard. I sure hope they did something with her character in the actual season.
>>152575741You'd have to keep it a little more consistent than just tacking the song at the end. Lute should have actively been making things worse with Vox pushing for war and disrespeting heaven to their faces. They also should have given her scene fighting with Vaggie some more focus: in Gravity she's singing about killing Vag as revenge for both Adam and to hurt Charlie. We should have been afraid if Vag getting murked then and there but instead it's portrayed as a cat fight and the focus is on Abel not being sure what to do
>>152575795If he's not a demon in hell I will RIOT
>>152576787>Wasn't there a Season 4 voice actor demo leak with Speaker of God throwing Lute out of Heaven?i don't remember that
>>152578740I feel like it'd be very easy to give Lute more nuance if she was shown to be involved with the war with Vox or protecting Emily in Hell at all. Vox basically validates all of her fears about powerful demons actively wanting to go to war with heaven but she ignores all that for a quick excuse to attack Vaggie and gets sent home without supper.
>>152574735Lute's my favorite character
>>152579036Lute suffers for having no connections to any twink men (her fatties don't count). Any time spent on Lute and the people around Lute is time spent not focused on twinks ergo she has little screentime.
>>152579036>Vox basically validates all of her fears about powerful demons actively wanting to go to war with heaven but she ignores all that for a quick excuse to attack Vaggie and gets sent home without supper.I think the point is she's not thinking clearly, she's grieving too hard. She has nothing left to live for right now and declared her intention for a murder-suicide in Gravity. She hates Vox on principle yes but Vox never did anything to her personally so in her eyes Vaggie and Charlie are the big targets. It's a miracle she backed down at all. That's the most constructive thing she's done since Adam's death and it puts her in an interesting position for potential character growth in the next season. At least, her simplistic murder-suicide plan has been shelved.
Can he fix her?
>>152579539No, but Emily will.
>>152579552Lute doesn't listen to instructions from women. Only assertive men can put her in her place.
>>152579341>simplistic murder suicideExcept I think it has its charm. It's pure emotion, revenge, rage, heavenly (in)justice which is a nice break from all our other scheming villains and their "plans"
>>152575043Adam wasn't fat. It was the robe. Women draw him fit
Does anybody know what episode this is from?
>sinner Adam My hero did nothing to deserve being sent to Hell.
>>152581323s2e7 - weapon of mass destruction
>>152581323I wanna ruffle her hair
>>152574735Complete waste during the finale. She has a twenty second clash with Vaggie and... that's it? All the buildup for nothing? They should have had her show up and kill like half of the background Overlords before she gets to the main cast. At least that way she was killing sinners and actually doing something rather than being a jobber
>>152584450This was Vox's season, Lute's probably getting her turn in a future season. Would it have been better if they didn't have her appear at all? Or would you be complaining about that instead?
>>152580590It is charming. Lute has no real ambitions and no forward thinking toward the end of season 2. Given that she is so volatile and intends to die in Hell (so threat of physical force will do nothing for her) it's really interesting that an appeal to emotion from Abel managed to pull her back. Contrast to Vox who is in a similar state by the end. Vox even has loved ones who'll be permakilled if he goes through with his plan (Lute doesn't) but he's way too far gone, can no longer be reasoned with and has to be literally dismantled to stop him.>>152584450Lute's plan is fucking stupid, that's the point, it won't make her happy and it's wrong. She has a miraculous moment of clarity where she understands that and stops even though there is nothing physically in her way to stop her carrying it out. She genuinely almost 'won' here she just realized that 'winning' this is not worth it. This is more dignified than what happens to Vox if your worldview is not based on shounen anime.
Don't forget Lute's correspondence with Lilith hasn't paid off yet. I imagine in season 3 she'll be torn between Lilith and Abel's influences. Lute has a lot in common with Lucifer at this point so Lilith might seize on this and nurture it
>>152585009>she just realized that 'winning' this is not worth itI don't think she realized this at all, nor had any moment of clarity. If the climax of her arc has already happened, it was kind of a wet fart that was upstaged by a sudden Abel arc. I don't think Lute has learned shit. She is an order-follower, which is the only thing that saves her from doing something self-destructive in revenge. Which is a good thing from a narrative perspective because it gives her character somewhere to go. I suspect she'll go rogue at some point as it becomes clearer Heaven didn't give much of a fuck about her or Adam. What we've seen so far isn't an arc for her, but the protracted start of one. She starts the season seething while being bossed around, and ends it seething while being bossed around.

>>152586800Indeed.
>>152584974Saving this post from when Lute is completely irrelevant in season 3 to make space for Valentino's sad backstory
>>152586813It hurts knowing this will likely be true.
>>152585692She is an order-follower yes but if it was a matter of simple hierarchy she'd stop because Emily or Sera wanted it, both of whom outrank Abel. But she only stopped because she had a vision of Adam being angry with her for going through with it. So it can't just be hierarchy and orders, she looks guilty because she realized she was doing something that made Adam disappointed, at least in her head. That's a really interesting set up for an arc. I agree we're only at the beginning of her arc.

>>152586813> Valentino's sad backstoryGod that would be hilarious, there’s already people flipping out over him showing a bit of sympathetic humanity, giving him a sad origin for why he’s like he is and show even he’s capable of redemption would explode their minds.
>>152586813Again, would it be better if she just didn't appear at all?
>YFW Lute becomes Abel's fuck pet and never pursues revenge again
I would be alright with it happening
