Ipad probably just likes being the center of attention, and given that it can do more than just be played with(copy a persons voice, translate it into spanish, etc) it makes sense that it would be proud. I don't think it's evil, it just seems to be vain. I'm not expecting it to be outright villainous like stinky pete or the purple teddy.
