They put up a proper trailer, and we finally see some SCPs in this SCP project.

Bump.

Seeing this makes me realize how lightly populated most visual depictions of the foundation are. I get why most artists can only show a hand full of people at a time but it's nice seeing crowds of scientist and guards doing their jobs.

Not bad.

Pretty cool, actually.

It's especially nice here because this is Site-19, which is supposed to be the largest Foundation Site, somehow(there are multiple Sites that are whole ass cities) and big crowds of employees help sell the scale.

I get that from a marketing standpoint, it makes sense to use the really popular and recognizable skips, but it would've been nice to get a few obscure ones in there. Then again, I don't actually recognize the hands one.

I skimmed the kickstarter page, I'm confused. So if they get the full funding they want, the entire project will be *only* 20 minutes long? Really dampened the small interest I had in the project, fuck are you going to do in 20 minutes?
>>

It's okay. Cautiously hopeful. Glad other people kickstarted it for me.

And forever amused that they did the sensible thing and used the early, relatively simple SCPs instead of the transgender Homestuck fan satellites or the living apocalypse giganiggas.

Eh I'm not too worried, if the iconic ones are executed well I'm confidant they'll be proper unnerving.

That's not my problem, that's their problem. If your project is so ambitious that all you can hope for is 20 minutes of it if your funding reach 300% of its initial goal, then maybe you're trying to build a dam out of sticks.

Well, I'm sure that if it's successful they'll try to leverage it as a pilot for a longer show.

Been a hot minute since anyone referenced the Song of Genesis. It's funny, cause even in the article, it's made clear that the Serpent's Hand destroyed the Foundation's copy and archived recordings of it.

I really don't get what you're getting so upset about.
Creating animations is very time-consuming work. And the more time you have to spend on something, the more expensive it will be.
So are you upset that creating an animation is expensive? Or that the process itself takes so long? Or maybe that these people are trying to create something that is expensive by nature?
>>

I'm not upset. I just thought this was a bigger project that a 20 minutes short, and given all the concepts they shoved in the trailer I'm sure that they will not properly use them.

4chan in a nutshell, honestly.
