Why did they turn him into such an asshole in Ultimate Alien? Ben was immature in the original and somewhat of a jerk in Alien Force, but he still had good nature and a golden heart to be a hero. In Ultimate Alien, he's a straight-up asshole, especially towards Julie, who was supporting him from the start. Did the writers change, or did something behind the scenes happen that caused this?
