No you wouldn't have Cecil half assing the issue, you would have the entire world changing gears mobilizing to make sure that never happens again. In other shows the destruction is pretty similar but because you never see anyone getting seriously hurt you don't question why the stakes aren't raised. If Invisible was true to the violence it shows the ending wouldn't be a super being becoming the king of his race, it would end with earth going full 4K to kill the Aliens or die trying.
