‘Regular Show: Lost Tapes’ will reportedly premiere on Cartoon Network this May in Central and Eastern European territories.
It will not air in the USA at this time.

Why?

It's crazy that something so American won't premiere in the US because it's bigger in non-US countries. It shows this cultural disconnect and how they want short-term gains. Cartoons for a long time have been background noise for toddlers with iPads.
>>
So CN is a dead channel in the US?
>>

always was

Television is a corpse held up by senile people
>>
>Brings back almost shows that ended almost 7-10 years ago
>Meanwhile almost shows that ended 15 years ago creators actually want to bring back are ignored in the dust
????

I'll never understand the love for KND. it's everything I would have been embarrassed to be accused of watching as a kid.
>>

More of a murder attempt
>>
>>152593249
Its one of those shows you have to turn your brain off to enjoy and to not take it too seriously
>>
>>152593249
It’s a fun show that isn’t afraid to take itself seriously occasionally. Mostly stayed clear from flanderization and seasonal rot.
What’s your problem with it?

Cable channels are the only profitable thing owned by these media conglomerates. Their movie wings break even and the streaming services burn money.

Me, but add every cartoon under the sun. It was all cringe and did nothing to help develop me for society.
>>
>>152593234
It’s cause there’s no audience for those shows, they don’t have fanbases like the last airbender. I like them but they’re not popular anymore, no one knows who they are.
>>
>>152593249
It was fun
>>
Oh god please don't suck
>>
>>152593249
It was Cartoon Network's flagship show of its era

Is that why they're all gradually shutting down across the globe? Look at how many Nick and MTV channels shutdown in the UK and middle east almost two months ago.
>>
>lost tapes
I liked that animal planet show.
I miss when animal planet was actually about animals.
>>
>>152593042
Am I the only one who finds it weird that it's been reported to debut this May and yet we haven't seen a SINGLE ad for this? Not even teasers, zilch. Weird that their just gonna drop this other than letting us know it will drop in May.

I miss when discovery channel actually showed docos

>>152593042
Good fucking riddance, this shit was always ass
>>
Reminds me of when they made that Johnny Bravo Bollywood movie that never aired in the US

According to some Hungarian website? It's probably not the most reliable source.
>>152596532
It will probably go to Hulu in the US. RS is only available there.
>>
Lost tapes my butthole shut
>>
Imagine Mordecai's lost tapes lol there must be so much embarrassing sex haha
>>
>>152593152
Seems like they should be catering to a niche audience rather than trying to get the whole world warching.
>>

Cable networks aren't profitable for a good reason, is the problem. Just a quirk of the way the business worked. Marketers shelling out 10s of millions of dollars a piece. Enough to fund major productions and diva celebrities to the tune of millions per episode. At this point it's practically charity. Marketers know that younger consumers aren't watching television ads, but if they started pulling out of TV then the TV industry would just die.
Something I pray for, but something they seem to think is a sacrilege.
