This also probably the most fun she's had since joining the Circus, so that probably played a significant role in endearing her to him. I think at his best, Jax is able to use his confidence to further a positive interaction and kinda milk it. If you're actually in a good mood while you're hanging out with Jax, he can keep up the good mood (so long as he himself remains in that good mood).

And they let him bully her too, he bullies her the first three episodes and they all play along with President Pomni after protecting Gangle from Poacher’s Paradise, and don’t help her out when she’s confused in the bar.They’re all pretty complacent people, which makes sense for their situation.As for why Pomni is befriending Jax at all, she’s got a bee in her bonnet about everyone feeling loved and included, because the opposite is her worst fear. She was ready to write Jax off in the early days and more or less avoided/ignored him, but once she got a glimpse that there was a normal dude in there somewhere she wanted to understand why he acts the way he does.
