Are there any comics like JoJo's Bizarre Adventure where the characters have uncanny/ more unconventional powers (without the stands)?

>>152598534Let me guess, you don't want a actual answerYou don't want to discuss western comicsYou just wanted a stealth Jojo thread on /co/ like some sort of parasitic leech Well I got four words for youFUCK OFF TO >>>/a/
>>152598579nah, I legit want to know because im kind of bored with the traditional depiction of super powers in comics. Its just that Jojo is the closest thing I can think of to desribe it because where else am I going to read something where a character has a seemingly useless power but its actually pretty nuanced/creative and useful in the right situation
>>152598612Old 60 comics had a lot of heroes and villains comming with creative ways to appy their gimmicks. Now a days comics are about the overall story so the fight get less panels to show creative use of powers.
>>152598612That’s kinda why Antman became a thing funny enough.

>>152598534Aside from the usual, there are instances with characters that have odd powers. Automatic Kafka, Moore's Captain Britain, Rogan Gosh, Milligan's Enigma, you name it.
Tales of the Octopus. Not to spoil anything, but some of the characters' powers are things like "talking every language in the world" or "see the true nature of anyone"
can we stop with the anime threads
>>152600529Not an anime thread
>>152600529I think the pedo threads are worse than the anime threads
>>152600651Drawings aren't real life.
>>152600672Ok, but if you keep talking about how turned on by those drawings you are, and how you wish there were more of those drawings, and you want to fuck those drawings, I think that you certainly have real life inclinations that mirror that obsession with said drawings, especially when said drawings are of media made for schoolchildren.
