Then comes Blitzo who charms for the grimoire, indirectly taking advantage of Stolas' failing marriage. The marriage would have been shown to be doomed from the start but it's collapse could have been prevented had things gone slightly different, unfortunately it didn't, no one would have been truly at fault here, just a preventable tragedy that wasn't stopped until it was too late. I don't hate Stolas, just disappointed in what he became, as well as the show.
