This is meant to be a one shot for people who normally don't read IDW, would it really hurt to have Whisper being more hesitant early on? It feels bizarre. Now that I've gotten the praise out the way, wow Tangle and Whisper really drag this whole thing down a notch. Even in this silly, lighthearted romp they STILL struggle to really do much aside from bringing their inane melodrama into the mix, it borders on parody at this point. They REALLY need to find ways to make this duo fun to read, or at least show some actual character growth between them. You can only pull this "Whisper is an emotional wreck and Tangle snaps her out of it" shtick so many times before even Sonic Twitter gets sick of it.Outside of that though, pretty solid one-shot.

They're two racers who aren't really into the rival thing, so they can catch snippets of when others are doing it. Then they can be the ones who catch onto the backbone plot of the comic and have to work together to win without leaving their cars.
