Why the Looney Tunes aren't popular anymore?
>>
>>152791452
Dude most of those images are just literal AI spam bots.
>>
>>152791466
Really
>>
>>152791452
Is that what I think it is
>>
>>152791466
AI was a mistake
>>
R34 really isn’t the measurement of franchise popularity people think it is.

Honestly you could compare all the images of Loona to the 10 billion Taz t-shirts that were made in the 90s. A lot of them were just worn by people who liked the look of the character but didn’t actually give a fuck about Looney Tunes. A franchise’s true measure of quality is how people discuss the actual content.

>Looney Tunes is all males besides a handful
>Only one (Lola) became huge for porn and otherwise only several mid level girls are in the series, but even then Lola was a thing 30 years ago
>Girls get more porn
>>
>>152791452
WB failed to keep the license relevant and let it languish in obscurity for years that Disney would never allow for Mickey Mouse or Goofy, so an entire generation grew up without them.

Yes it is. The only shows /co/ talks about are ones that get porn.
>>
>>152791452
Slapstick is toxic and violent which just leaves cozy stakes free slice of life comedy... which is competing with adult cartoons. Nobody is going to watch Looney Tunes over Family Guy
>>
>porn = relevancy
The term "porn addict" is mostly a pointless buzzword, but if you measure things like this you actually are one.

Give it a few months, anon

People are gonna be talking about them again at least for a few weeks once this drops
>>
>>152792342
Well yeah, people come to /co/ because they’re pornbrained coomers looking to feed their sex drive. You wouldn’t go on YouTube to read a book. /co/ only exists for degenerates, it’s not real popularity

1. Looney Tunes shorts went from being commonplace on TV airwaves for several years to being plucked off the air. This led to younger generations not being exposed to them the same way previous generations were. For instance, kids growing up in the 80's and 90's were still able to watch Looney Tunes shorts on TV.

2. Warner Bros' mishandling of the Looney Tunes brand over the years. Despite making new Looney Tunes content throughout the 2000's, it felt like much of it didn't really move the needle much. It also doesn't help that aside from the original Space Jam, most Looney Tunes movies were box office disappointments despite being its brand recognition. Something similar kinda happened with Smurfs in recent years.

3. As iconic as the Looney Tunes brand is, let's be real--it's an aging brand. 2030 will mark the 100th anniversary of Looney Tunes and the brand was already old by the time Gen-Xers and Millennials grew up with it. Combine that with younger generations having less exposure to Looney Tunes and Warner Bros' mishandling, then it's only natural for a long-running franchise to lose relevancy as time goes by.

Some might scoff at the thought of Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, and Superman fading into obscurity like Felix the Cat and Terrytoons. At some point, however, modern execs who continue to whore out those old characters they inherited may have to come to terms with idea of those cash cows dying of natural causes sooner or later if they lose even more relevancy with newer generations years from now.

If porn were a gauge of relevance than My Life as a Teenage Robot would be one of the most fondly-remembered and popular Nickelodeon shows of all time instead of just being a show most people vaguely remember as being sort of ok.
>>

Bait
>>
>>152792211
That is because Disney has to do nothing besides keep Mickey & Co on autopilot in theme parks to keep them relevant, Looney Tunes does not get that benefit and only gets cheap, beat down, outdated theming at Six Flags
>>
>>152795457
Well WB had six flags. Until Six Flags declared bankruptcy, and eventually very recently, cancelled their relationship with them.
WB is probably looking to either build their own theme park or loan out the IP to Universal.

>Only Lola

I feel like this undersells Fifi's historical importance in the goon space of the 90s.
>>
>>152791452
dude... it is mostly ai sloppa

literal trash files

e621 doesn't accept AI unless they get caught
And Loona there has 29k images
>>
Because they're "problematic" and not "politically correct" by today's standards.
Aka
Censorship and propaganda
>>
>>152795493
I think the issue is a lot of old Fifi stuff is just fucking gone it seems.
>>
>>152797034
I can only assume you're like 60 because there's no way you actually think this.

Why do you want to jerk off to Bugs Bunny

NTA, but some on /co/ are turned on Bugs' crossdressing. Exhibit A.

Exhibit B.
>>
>>152791452
They still are, it's just that their popularity is with normies and not basement dwellers.
>>
>>152793852
I'm not looking at porn of robot characters unless they're sufficiently fleshy golems like Murder Drones or just humans being called robots like Nier Automata.
>>
>>152797968
Bugs is a handsome twink
