Currently reading this since it got posted a bunch recently.
What's up with Giffen's art? I know he took inspiration from Jose Munoz, but he does it differently. For instance, there are panels that don't really help set a scene, they're just there awkwardly like the corner of an exterior shot. Like he's adhering to a nine panel grid but not using the space properly.

Michel Fiffe just did a 8 hours+ deep dive into Giffen's art on his channel. It will answer all of your questions.

Personally, I don't think Keith was a really good artist and his breif straight-to-ink phase was the worst. I prefer his writing, especially whenever he teamed-up with Alan Grant on Lobo.
