he's not really a well-defined character, and his gimmick is being a ghost that you can high five, for some reason, but they never really do anything with it iircthere's one episode where I remember him being relevant at all, and it's the one where he turns Mordecai and Rigby into ghosts so they can go to Muscle Man's party or something, and even then he's in Muscle Man's shadow, like he usually is.
I think the creators said he's already well adjusted and happy with his job so there isn't much they can do with him usually

>>152800349He's one of the best designed characters on the show to me. He's not really meant to be a "main" character like the rest of the cast. He exists to hype up Muscle Man, without him, he's a loser. Him getting Muscle Man's humor makes you seem like the weird one for being on the outside, making him look cooler. He's a ghost of a character to be on the receiving end of a high five. There's always gonna be people you work with and never talk to, he's meant to be that.

>>152800920I'd love to give the Regular Show creator that much credit, but it's obvious so much of the main cast was randomly designed as animate objects or vague supernatural creatures just because it'd look interesting. There's no rhyme or reason to anything in this show. The most amount of effort went into Mordecai's love drama and Rigby's highschool arc; everything else--including the finale--had no setup and was clearly made up on the spot.

Not sure where that came from but it stuck with me even though I do believe that'd have been a secondary mindset about the concept, and the "because it's unique and fun" design rationale was primarily true.I mean, we know it started as animals working at a human zoo but it could still be true even into producing Season 1 he had this "avatars" kind of idea, but I still think he (or whoever it was) thought of it just later enough it'd be a secondary mindset.
