A lot of people say a kids show isn’t made for kids as a compliment but honestly, I feel like not enough people comment on the problems of making a kids show not for kids and not in like a “I don’t want kids watching inappropriate material” way but in a “I’d prefer kids shows to actually appeal to kids” way because as someone who was a kid while adventure time was still running, when the later seasons started trying to not be a kids show, it made me stop watching.
So we can all agree that this constitutes as rape right?

I don't mind if things get a little serious now and then but sometimes it feels like the writers genuinely resent the medium they are creating content for and would rather be doing something else. In which case... Yeah, how about you go do that.
I was an adult when Adventure Time was airing, but I too stopped watching it when it stopped trying to be a kids show.
