He also makes a really good point. Just look at all the different animated TV series, live-action TV series, and live-action movies for just Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man alone. Factor in other comic book characters that got multiple adaptations (X-Men, Fantastic Four, TMNT, Iron Man, Punisher, The Flash, etc.), and that's a ton of comic book TV shows and movies that often go over similar story beats over and over again by way of reboots. It does question the need for so many reboots of the same comic book characters.
