I'm on a fixed income!

idk why but i always found this office scene really comfy.
>>

no idea why, i always found it depressing and claustrophobic
if you go and rewatch it notice how bob's cubicle is the only one with a giant electric support beam or some shit, cramping him even more

that looks really comfy to me, i dont know why. maybe because its sort of compact and everything has a place, probably some weird autism i have

>I don't see why Israel has to suffer for your poor financial planning, Ma'am
>>
>>152805573
Probably Bob's unwillingness to let his circumstances keep him from helping.

I guess because it's grounded in reality and the rest of the film is a superhero movie? Kind of like the early part of the Matrix or how people really like the Shire part of Lord of the Rings.
>>
>>152806279
huh, yeah i agree with the matrix office and nightclub parts. cant say ive ever made the connection before though but it makeds sense
>>
>>152806215
I have to admit, it's at least very clean and peaceful-feeling.
>>

The cool color scheme feels languid and sleepy and sterile. It's boring but also safe

the non pole cubicles have a pretty nice size to them, i wish my office had these. open desk concept is the worst

I work part time in an office with cubicles and my only real issue with the setup is that it’s so damn quiet and serene that I damn near fall asleep when I’m there. It’s a perfect environment to take a nap but not to work, ironically.

both offices can be good, there's more to it than desks next to eachother in the open, and they're's more to ways for cubicles to be both good and bad.

I've never understood what oldfags meant by this. Isn't pretty much everyone on a fixed income? I work and get an income from it, but I can't just decide to give myself a raise. Therefore, my income is at a fixed amount.
>>

Some old people get a fixed income where they are not allowed to get out more from the bank even if they have it and need to.

>I'M SORRY MA'AM, I KNOW YOU'RE UPSET.
>Now go on. Pretend to be upset
The whole exchange gets me.

Cubicles are fine as long as your walls are high enough to block your screen from everyone else. I know one department at my company has short cubes that everyone behind you can see your screen for everything. A literal psychopath used to run that department, and I think he just wanted to see everyone’s screens at all times if he came out of his office

social security, there was a time when jobs actually did raises and bonuses, but social security and other forms of wellfare wouldn't.

Incredibles is still one of the greatest films ever made, but MAN does the limited set design show its age in certain areas
