Todd seems like kind of a douche. Even after all these years he still isn't properly crediting creators of his characters. Nowhere in this comic does he mention Angel Medina who in all likelihood created Gunslinger Spawn, in #119 the character first appears in a group shot with probably no guidance beyond the script saying "double splash: draw a bunch of Spawns".
He kind of gives all Image a bad name. Liefeld, Silvestri, Lee, they credited creators. Kirkman does, the recent Invincible books he's done all mention Cory Walker as a co-creator of Invincible. It's kind of standard practice now. Todd is the only guy who is "rules for thee not for me", it seems like he honestly just left Marvel not because he believed in creator rights but just because he wanted to be the guy making the money.
