>>152815238Yes. It's not just a matter of the series having lost it's initial identity, it's the fact that we're so far past that point that the show in its current state no longer has an identity. To say the current showrunners are out of ideas is putting things lightly. Spongebob as an IP is creatively bankrupt and has been for well past a decade now. Worst of all is the gaggle of zoomer twittards who've glommed onto this gross out mickey mouse shell of the series as part of their identity in much the same way they've done with TTG.
