Remember when cartoons were a thing?
>>152816084No
Imagine having a stacked year like 2015 again, literally feels unreal like a fever dream
>>152816084Mid 2010s really were a great time to be a Western Animation fan
>>152816084>Remember when cartoons were a thing?Uh, I only remember three of those shows (AT, RS, and Gumball) because I heard of them before I ditched cable in 2011. Never heard of the other six shows until I started lurking /co/ a couple years later and now I wished I never heard of them, especially those beanmouth shows.
>>152816084Man that is one gruesome list. No wonder cartoons are irrelevant these days.
>>152816084there are like 2 good cartoons here
>>152817682/thread.
>being nostalgic over beanmouthslopGrim.
>>152817682>>152817805This>>152817652>Mid 2010s really were a great time to be a Western Animation fan>Sym-Bionic Titan (2010-2011)Oh, and I'm also a fan of western animation, but JFC many of the 2010's shows sucked. That era also did way more harm than good for the following reasons:>Beanmouth, beanmouth everywhere.>Oh, look! Family Guy and Rick & Morty clones.>We need to hit our LGBT quotas.>Hey, that show was a hit back in the day. Let's reboot it!
>>152818135Please understand the last time /co/ had any real amount of new blood coming into it was that mid 2010s period so the lingerers hanging around here are very nostalgic for it.
>>152816084my grandpa soiled his trousers and spat out his dentures whenever the popeye theme played and popeye socked that big palooka bluto
>>152817682>>152817805>>152818135The time these shows were airing is considered the peak and networks wish to return to that. The funny thing is that they misunderstand why it was the peak. Cartoons had an upwards trajectory until these shows caused a decline. This is why they were at the peak.
>>152818189Based grandpa.
>>152818235>Cartoons had an upwards trajectory until these shows caused a decline.Hence, why I said those shows did way more harm than good. Even without streaming, the pandemic, and that 2008 economic crisis, the networks wouldn't be in the pickle their in had those shows been on par with what the networks had in the 90's and early 2000's.Also, whoever made this should have used Robin from TT '03 instead of TTG.
>>152817682Yea, this is kind of telling that this is now considered the absolute peak of cartoons by the people who watch cartoons these days.
>>152818331*they're
