Besides the 90's had a bunch of adult animation that wasnt just shit fox was pumping out.Spawn was edgy as fuck but it was really liked as adult animation. It was the perfect fit for HBO I really wish HBO ended up funding more adult animation. Like can you imagine if venture bros was picked up by HBO given real funding,support&advertising. Along with letting them do wtv they want because its HBO they want ludokino they want real adult entertainment that you cant see on cable TV. If venture bros had the animation budget&quality it did from season 3 from the start thanks to HBO. It would have been insanely popular, compared to being stuck on cartoon network at night on a block known for manchildren&stoners. It absolutely would have lasted for 5-7 seasons. Each season being 22-26 episodes all the nudity and swearing and etc only on the DVD's would be perfectly fine airing on HBO if anything they would tell them to do more.This is the channel after all that loved showing hot man on man prison rape and the prags kept as sexslaves how it effected them in prison/life.
