>previous thread https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/152465158/#152465158>D’Orc is avoiding every wizard and warrior because some DOOMSDAY prophecy says he will destroy the world. Can he change their minds? Probably not. D’Orc, his magic shield, and Ghost-chicken-with-its-head-cutoff are too busy facing a bigger challenge, KIDS!?! They’re time thieves. Oh, and there’s a Time Lord. That guy sucks.
>>152819720>each wound steals your time awayThat's already what knives do. It's called bleeding. The story over-complicated bleeding.
That’s all. What did you guys think?

For real. Like with a potion from the Silver Witch. Is that even possible? To permanently be erased from existence? Probably, because magic is real. D'orc faces off against a real threat with a giant hammer. Things will happen that will change his fate forever. Or he'll get wiped from existence. 50/50 chance on this one.
>>152820253I think it's decent so far. It just feels like it's trying a bit too hard to be like IHF, for better or for worse. It's going to be difficult to move away from that shadow and carve its own identity out of it.
>>152820253It's okay. I think if I was 14, this would be my favorite comic ever. As it stands though, it's lacking enough meat. The pacing is a bit awkward and exposition-y, not just in stating details but also the very blunt showcase of Dorc's character. The art relies way too much on nondescript watercolor backgrounds. There hasn't been a good enough hook in for overarching adventures, whether it's plot progression or wanting to see more of the characters or wanting to see what new situation is next, so I'm just kinda ehhhhhhI want to like it, but this feels like a "wait 4-5 months till it finds ground" sorta dealAlso I keep having to remember there's no Skottie Young.
>>152822374>Also I keep having to remember there's no Skottie Young.I don't blame you, the series is a fantasy comedy that has everyone from IHF's second run aside from Skottie involved.
Bump for reading
