Damn, American Dad got its budget slashed. It's a little hard to watch now.

The real scandal is that 99% of the time the animation is very unambitious. Characters walk in and out of frame to talk. This scene is actually trying.

I just didn't like how awkward Steve looks in this scene. He looks like he's running on ice here. Stan flapping his arms on the ground after being pinned also looks cheap. The cabinet and the table are also magically fixed in the second scene. The rest of the episode didn't look very good either especially with how more "standing around and talking" scenes there were. I'm comparing this against the previous TBS seasons which looked like they had more money put into it.
