I was surprised how far they delved into her in Season 2.In terms of truly getting inside her head Lute seems to be getting the most depth though and I don't think it's a coincidence that she's tortured by feelings for big bad evil sharp-toothed Adam. There's a trend with modern female authors (who are ultimately more interested in writing men, because they're straight) where they pair the women together so they can claim feminism points and get back to writing the men they like, especially if those men are gay.
I think we're more likely to get flashbacks of Lute and Adam's relationship than flashbacks to the early days of Chaggie and that's sad if you think about it. Lute and Vaggie are the same kind of artificial creature with the same hangups about loyalty and inferiority but we're probably only going to explore that through the prism of Lute's heterosexual relationship.
