I actually had to do that for the nude Crochet drawing; by mistake I inked that square of stitch marks on her waist as one unbroken line, so I scraped a bit off with the knife. Feeling the paper with my finger, I can’t even tell it was there.And also, characters with minimal detail like these are advised for getting started. Shit, start with Mickey Mouse if you have to. And I consider the bare essentials to be:> mechanical pencil> 4H mechanical lead refill canister> craft knife> mechanical eraser> spiral-bind sketchbook with 80 ib paper> 005 artist penpic related.And if you don’t like sketching in black you can get mechanical pencil lead in different colors. One of the recent Crochet drawings I sketched in green. No problems erasing.And of course this is only my opinion; how I would approach things if I had to start learning ( or hoarding ) all over again.
