I have a feeling Bubble is Able, but also the real villain. I also think he'll be more outright evil than Caine ever could be. Why not use that to EXPAND ON JAX. By her own word's he's a main fucking character. That time could have just as easily have been used to show Ribbit, Kaufmo and Jax's relationship in a short, three minute sequence at most. That's not even mentioning that Jax is STILL having these panic attacks about something we barely know anything about. It was cool seeing it the first time, and I was hoping there'd be something done to expand on it, but nope. This is what frustrates me about the show the most. I'm expected to feel emotions for these characters without any of the actual writing it takes to get to these emotional moments in the first place. It's all rushed to shit WITHOUT IT EVEN NEEDING TO BE.

Episode 7 is when all the dynamics between the characters functionally collapsed. Now, there's nothing more to them than exchanging glances at each other, and having the most bare bones, boring dialog and random attempts at drama that lead to nowhere. Like with Jax randomly trying to start an argument with Pomni again, despite the fact that this is something he should have grown out of by now. It feels so dull, lifeless and empty now. Ironically about what Jax said about there being "Nothing more to him" applies to all the characters in the show. Now that they've "completed their arcs". What's left for them now?

Here's the next piece of evidence, the entirety of the fourth episode. The whole episode is about her wearing an unbreakable mask that's supposed to keep her happy, but as it goes on, you can still see that she's getting emotionally overwhelmed. She is literally masking and trying to maintain the facade of mental stability and can't just be her normal depressed self, because she doesn't have the "mask breaking" excuse. Jax even points out an episode later wondering if she even is capable of being happy. The final piece of evidence is the sixth episode where Zooble specifically points it out, and I think the episode literally proves her wrong. When Gangle's mask shatters in that episode, she's happy underneath it, showing her true emotional state at that moment. Despite it breaking, she had a satisfying and happy moment, something outside of her depression that gave her joy. I think it's fair to say that the masks don't control her emotional state, she's just depressed and uses it as an excuse.
