This episode just felt rushed to me, and the plot elements in general aren't really landing for me. Character psychology when it comes to their relationships is fine, but in terms of plot- why did it take so long for Pomni to seek Kinger? He's literally at his fort every day, constantly sane. Likewise why wouldn't Kinger do anything with this ability? He could immediately tell the bucket wasn't to be removed, but in the previous episode when he had something important to tell Pomni he casually walked out into the light like an imbecile despite knowing exactly what would happen.It also feels like the world never really moved until Pomni arrived despite supposedly having years of history. The characters only think far enough to where the plot points are mapped out, but never more than that, and the setting itself doesn't compensate for this by placing restrictions on them. It just feels like they aren't thinking persons.

TADC has really spent most of the time telling the story of the characters rather than the story of the setting but what it hasn't really done is given a reason for why there's a real choice for Pomni. The third twist is probably that the outside world is far worse than the Circus world and that the brainscans have been gone for so long they don't realize that the world has gone to hell.Like why would Pomni hesitate to press the Blue button. She probably knows that real life is fucked and leaving is just going to result in infinite physical and mental anguish like starvation. If this is the case I don't think I feel that satisfied because I don't feel like Pomni has been clear enough that the current situation is preferable to her real life situation. I feel like yes, she is optimistic and positive because it's better in the circus and she says in the recent episode "we have to accept being here" but I didn't get that sense in the earlier episodes - she should have been making a case for that earlier. She's in the Matrix, is a condition of being in the Matrix is that she doesn't know? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense because knowing you are in the Matrix is necessary to want to stay in the Matrix. This show needed probably 3 more episodes minimum and not spreading out episodes 3 to 6 months apart for this to work.

And these places are far too remote for homeless people to settle in and given there was some kind of conflict, nobody has the spare gas to drive into nowhere. Roofs/buildings can last 20 years before losing any real structural integrity. I've seen barns from the 50s still standing having never seen any maintenance my entire life.- Ragatha enters while the program after almost being killed- Gangle enters because of injury- Jax enters because of who cares- Zooble is some kind of artist who explores and found the location post/mid-conflict- Pomni also explores and found the location

If TADC falls on its face in the last episode, which I already think it will, it will be because the writing did not deliver. And I am really disappointed that people like this product so much because it's terrible, like nobody listened in high school English.
