But in terms of Caine’s crash out, that’s probably been a slow boil ever since Zooble showed up and refused to play ball for however long she’s been there (in addition to general mental deterioration).Pomni and Kaufmo reigniting exit obsession, leading to the beach episode disaster, which finally pushed him over the edge.Jax specifically calling out that Pomni AND Zooble arriving changed things is a nice touch, not just because they’re both people who challenge him, but it’s just a nice acknowledgement that there was a time before Pomni.
