When the original Wacky Races released in the 60s it was designed so people could gamble on the outcome of the race as it broadcast for the first time on television. Very obviously it had problems because animation is a slow process and the outcome could leak well ahead of scheduled. But, with the current pro-gambling climate of today, and the power of AI to finish so the results can happen basically live, why has nobody revisited this concept?
>>152940049Wait really? I used to watch this show on the boomerang channel I didn't know that.
>>152940049>you took all the money you made from franchising your name, and bet it on Dick Dastardly?>I thought he was due!
>>152940121Yeah that's because it's a lie.
>>152940127Fuck
>>152940049>and the power of AI to finish so the resultsWell, have my reply I guess. You won't get anything else.
there was a jerma stream where he played the japanese wacky races 3do gamehe and chat made bets on the outcome of the race since the game would randomly choose between one of the racers to win in a pre-rendered cutscene and the objective of the game was to bet on two characters of your choice to winfunny enough, dick dastardly himself is one of the possible winners
>>152940049>and the power of AI>who crossed the finish line first?>I... don't know... it can't decide if it's drawing penelope pitstop or the pink panther
