When I started, I wondered how the modern Jessica ended up like this given how her early issues began, but there is a bit of a softening of her image over time, so maybe that was her trajectory. One that stood out to me was having the cutesy-sounding Omigosh in her thoughts when Lindsay calls her up. Also she's got absolutely awful tastes in love interests. Her longest is very incompetent SHIELD agent that looks like he's in his 40s and was probably bewitched by the blood transfusion or pheromones based on how sudden it was. She would lack experience in that, so she wouldn't find it strange. Shroud also felt forced, given that being with him was the only time she made a quip and she had internal thoughts about him in comparison when she barely knew him. And those are the "good" ones.

This "Bounty-hunter" section of Spider-Woman is awful and everything I liked about her so far was cut out. Maybe I should have actually followed advice to skip it, but the desire to have numbers go up was overwhelming. Only thing I pretend was positive was Jessica using "date" to describe eating with Lindsay, and that is just a side effect of yuri brain poisoning.
