People will seethe, but it's true. Smiling Friends has a severe lack of actual jokes, instead opting for endless "what if x wacky thing happened!". The only problem is the writers have a very limited template of those types of bits so shit gets stale fast. People compare SF to ATHF a lot but it's a retarded comparison because Aqua Teens had genuinely A+ tier writing and is infinitely quotable. What are people going to be quoting from SF 5 years from now? Nothing really resonates out of context because the writing isn't strong enough for that.
