Her home is attacked and her base destroyed, and she sacrifices herself to save the world. She has to atruggle to get back, and during her return, she's attacked, made powerless, and almost killed. Her fight with Molecule Man is surprisingly brutal, how one by one she's stripped of her weapons, how her plans fail, and she's literally begging for her life inches from death and has to be rescued. And it's a trauma that drives most of the second season, it's something that's always at the back of her mind and that she needs to grow from.Finally, her secret identity is blown up when Molecule Man finally recovers, discovers where she lives, and goes directly to her house to kill her. And that causes a HUGE strain on her family relationships that the second half of the second season has to deal with.It's just a really solid superhero origin/coming of age show. I recommend checking it out if you have a chance.

They'd have to build entirely new molds for Penny and Lunella and any others with stylized shapes and Marvel Legends sure as fuck isn't going to put the effort. The best chances are companies like Blokees, which is doing some Rivals stuff, or Revoltech's Amazing Yamaguchi, which has done it's fair share of Marvel and DC stuff.
